504 Marrickville RdThe simplest way from Haymarket is the light rail. Board the L1 at Central Grand Concourse, Capitol Square or Paddy’s Markets, all a short walk from the middle of the suburb, and stay on until Dulwich Grove or Dulwich Hill. No change is needed, and both stops are close to the clinic.
Driving is 7.5 km and about 17 minutes outside peak. Head down George Street to Broadway, follow Parramatta Road, then Cannon Street, Westbourne Street and Crystal Street to New Canterbury Road. Wardell Road brings you onto Marrickville Road. There’s street parking there and in MacArthur Parade, though some bays are timed.
Open until 8pmDays spent between Railway Square, George Street and the lanes of Chinatown and Thaitown can run long. Our Monday, Tuesday and Thursday hours stretch to 8pm, so an evening booking is realistic. Friday and Saturday run from 9am to 3pm if a weekend slot suits better.
Each visit starts with a proper look at your teeth and gums, digital X-rays when they’re due, then a scale and polish. Any problem is explained before anything happens. Read more about routine check-ups and professional teeth cleaning.
Saturday family visitsChildren usually cope better when the trip is easy. A Saturday light rail ride from Paddy’s Markets can be part of the outing, with Belmore Park or UTS Alumni Green nearby for a run around afterwards. First visits are kept short and relaxed.
Our children’s dental care covers check-ups, fluoride, fissure sealants and small fillings. Kids who play contact sport can be fitted for custom-made sports mouthguards, moulded to their own teeth so they stay put during a game.
Same-visit crownsA broken or heavily filled tooth often needs a crown, and ours are made in the clinic, so same-visit crowns are often possible. If a tooth has been lost, dental implants near Haymarket, including All-on-4, are planned and placed here in Dulwich Hill.
Thinking about colour or shape? Teeth whitening and bonding suit smaller changes, and veneers in composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn suit bigger ones. After an exam we explain the options and what each would cost, and payment plans can be talked through at the clinic.

Dr Dimitrios Thanos has more than 25 years in practice and runs a clinic where general dentistry, laser treatment and digital X-rays all happen in one place. You can meet the dental team or read about The Smile Spot before booking.

Yes. Single implants and All-on-4 are assessed, planned and placed at our clinic, with costs explained once Dr Thanos has examined you. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person. We talk you through the alternatives at your consultation, and you are welcome to get a second opinion.
