Easy ParkingStreet parking on Marrickville Rd
504 Marrickville RdFrom Satinwood Close, follow Brushwood Drive down to Alfords Point Road and cross toward Davies Road and Fairford Road. That puts you on the M5 Motorway. Come off at Wolli Avenue, then Bray Avenue, Hartill-Law Avenue and Homer Street take you to Wardell Road, with Margaret Street and Marrickville Road at the end.
It’s 20.7 km, about 35 minutes outside peak. Public transport needs at least one change and no bus links Alfords Point directly with the clinic, so driving is simplest. Street parking is on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade beside us; check for timed bays.
Open until 8pmYes, with a bit of planning. Alfords Point is about 28 km south of the CBD in the Sutherland Shire, so an evening slot often works well. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays we see patients until 8pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 9am.
Expect an exam of your teeth and gums, a scale and polish, and digital X-rays when they’re due. You’ll find more about what a check-up covers and how we clean teeth on those pages, or ask us on the phone.
Saturday family visitsA Saturday visit means no missed school, and booking the whole family in a row keeps it to one drive from the 2234 postcode. You could still be home in time for an afternoon at Casuarina Oval or Coachwood Oval.
Children’s appointments include check-ups, fluoride and fissure sealants, explained in a way kids can follow. Playing contact sport? A guard made from moulds of their teeth is worth having. Read about our children’s dentistry and custom sports mouthguards.
Same-visit crownsReplacing a tooth is a process, not a single visit, and keeping it in one place saves time on the road. Dental implants near Alfords Point are planned and placed at our clinic, from one implant to a full All-on-4 arch, with costs explained after the exam.
Because our dental crowns are made in-house, many are completed in one appointment. For cosmetic goals, ask about whitening your teeth, bonding, or composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn veneers at a consultation, where payment plans can also be discussed.

Dr Dimitrios Thanos has been practising for more than 25 years and leads the clinic. Meet the dental team, or read more about The Smile Spot to see whether it’s the right fit for you and your family.

Yes. Single implants and All-on-4 are assessed, planned and placed at our Dulwich Hill clinic after a consultation. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person.
