504 Marrickville RdDrivers leave via Murrell Street and Liverpool Road, then take Victoria Street and Norton Street before Prospect Road, Seaview Street and Henson Street bring you into Dulwich Hill. The trip is 3 km, about eight minutes outside peak. Park on Marrickville Road or in MacArthur Parade, where some bays are timed.
Without a car, the 418 bus runs from Ashfield to the clinic, no change required. Ashfield station is on the train line, but there’s no light rail stop in the suburb, so the 418 is the straightforward choice for most trips.
Open until 8pmYou could pair a Saturday check-up with a trip to Ashfield Mall, since we’re open 9am to 3pm on Saturdays as well as Fridays. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays appointments run until 8pm, which suits anyone working standard office hours.
Regular visits include an exam, digital X-rays when they’re due and a clean. Our pages on check-ups and exams and professional cleaning cover what happens at each appointment and roughly how long you’ll be in the chair.
Saturday family visitsAfter a game at Pratten Park or a run around Allman Park, a Saturday check-up is an easy add-on. Children’s first visits are kept short, and the dentist explains each step so younger patients know exactly what’s coming next.
We provide dental care for children with fluoride, fissure sealants and regular check-ups. Kids who play sport can be measured for a custom mouthguard that’s shaped to their own bite, ready for the next training session.
Same-visit crownsBefore any cosmetic work, we sit down with you and talk through what’s realistic for your teeth. Options include teeth whitening, bonding and veneers in composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn, with costs explained once we’ve examined you.
Broken or heavily filled teeth can often be repaired with crowns made on site and fitted the same day. If you’re missing one or more teeth, our page on dental implants near Ashfield explains single implants and All-on-4 treatment.

Dr Dimitrios Thanos has more than 25 years of experience, and you can see who else you’ll meet on our team page. Laser dentistry and digital X-rays are part of daily care, and there’s more about The Smile Spot if you’d like the background.
