504 Marrickville RdStart along North Terrace and Wattle Street, then Roberts Road and Wiley Avenue take you to King Georges Road. From there it’s Canterbury Road, then New Canterbury Road and Kintore Street to finish on Marrickville Road. The trip is 12.5 km and takes about 26 minutes outside peak.
Buses run all through the Bankstown city centre, and Yagoona station is 1.4 km away, though for a dental visit the drive tends to be simplest. Park on Marrickville Road or in MacArthur Parade beside the clinic. Some bays are timed, so check before you walk in.
Open until 8pmErrands around Bankstown Central or Little Saigon Plaza can eat into any weekend, so weeknight hours matter too. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday run until 8pm, while Friday and Saturday are 9am to 3pm. Wednesday and Sunday are our days off.
A check-up covers your teeth, gums and bite, with digital X-rays only when they’re due and a thorough clean to finish. Read about regular dental check-ups and what a teeth clean and polish involves at The Smile Spot.
Saturday family visitsKids can be nervous the first time, so we take it slowly and explain each step. Fluoride, fissure sealants and small fillings are all handled here. See our children’s dental care page for what a first visit looks like and how we help little ones settle in.
Saturday appointments mean no time off school, and you might finish with a play at Paul Keating Park or Swayne Reserve nearby. Any child who plays contact sport should have one of our custom sports mouthguards, made to fit their own teeth.
Same-visit crownsTeeth that have darkened or chipped can often be improved with teeth whitening, bonding or veneers in composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn. Dr Thanos will examine your teeth first and explain the options and the costs before you commit to anything.
Broken teeth can be rebuilt with crowns made on site, often in the same appointment. For gaps, we offer dental implants near Bankstown, from a single tooth to All-on-4, planned and placed under one roof at Dulwich Hill. Payment plans and health fund claims can be discussed at the clinic.

The practice is led by Dr Dimitrios Thanos, who has 25+ years behind him. Laser dentistry and digital X-rays are part of a normal visit. You can meet our dental team or read more about the clinic before you ring.

Yes. We plan and place single implants and All-on-4 at Dulwich Hill. It starts with an exam, and costs are explained before treatment. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person. We talk you through the alternatives at your consultation, and you are welcome to get a second opinion.
