How Far Is Bondi From Our Dulwich Hill Clinic?

It’s 13.7 km by road and about 33 minutes outside peak. From Bondi Road, pick up Syd Einfeld Drive, then follow Oxford Street, Moore Park Road and Foveaux Street towards Eddy Avenue and Pitt Street. From there you head west and finish on Marrickville Road.

To be honest, that’s a fair trip across town. Bondi Junction station is 1.4 km from the suburb centre, but public transport needs a change, and local routes like the 333 and 379 don’t come out this way. Once you arrive, street parking is on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade next to the clinic, though a few bays are timed.

Making Room For Check-Ups When You Live In Bondi

A long drive is easier to plan when the clinic keeps longer hours. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday run until 8pm, so you can set off after work once peak traffic has passed. Friday and Saturday sessions are 9am to 3pm, and the doors stay shut on Wednesday and Sunday.

Most people only need to see us twice a year. A visit covers a look at teeth and gums, digital X-rays when they’re due and a scale and polish. Here’s what happens at a dental check-up and during a professional teeth clean.

Bondi Families

Kids’ Teeth, Weekend Sport And Bondi Family Life

Saturday is often the easiest day for families coming from Bondi, because there’s no school to work around. Booking siblings back to back means one trip covers everyone, and you can ask about fitting a parent’s check-up in alongside.

Between Dickson Park, Waverley Park and Thomas Hogan Reserve, Bondi kids have plenty of space to run around. We cover first visits, fissure sealants and fluoride through children’s dentistry, and fit custom sports mouthguards moulded to each child’s bite.

Cosmetic And Restorative Dentistry For Bondi Patients

If coffee or red wine has dulled your smile, teeth whitening is a simple place to start. For chips, gaps or uneven edges, Dr Thanos may suggest bonding or veneers made from composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn. Costs are explained once he has examined you.

Distance matters less when treatment takes fewer visits. Our crowns are made in-house and usually fitted in one appointment, and dental implants near Bondi are planned and placed under one roof, including All-on-4, so there’s no shuffling between practices.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the drive from Bondi to The Smile Spot?

About 33 minutes outside peak, covering 13.7 km via Bondi Road, Syd Einfeld Drive, Oxford Street and Moore Park Road before heading west to Marrickville Road.

Is there a public transport option from Bondi?

Not a simple one. Bondi Junction station is 1.4 km from the suburb centre, but the trip needs a change, so most Bondi patients find driving easier.

Where do I park when I get there?

On Marrickville Road or in MacArthur Parade, which runs beside the clinic. A few of the bays have time limits, so it’s worth reading the signs.

Can Bondi patients book evening or Saturday appointments?

Yes. We see patients until 8pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and from 9am to 3pm on Friday and Saturday. Wednesday and Sunday we’re closed.

What should I do in a dental emergency in Bondi?

Phone (02) 9569 0199 right when the clinic opens and describe what’s going on. We’ll give you the soonest appointment we have.

Can I join the practice as a new patient from Bondi?

Of course. Book online or call us, and let us know about any worries or nerves so we can talk through sedation choices.

Will you see my children from Bondi?

Yes. Kids are welcome from their first visit, and Saturday sessions mean no time off school for check-ups, sealants or a sports mouthguard fitting.

Can I have dental implants done near Bondi?

Yes, at our Dulwich Hill clinic. Dr Thanos plans single implants and All-on-4 from the first consultation through to the final teeth, so you deal with one team. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person. We talk you through the alternatives at your consultation, and you are welcome to get a second opinion.
