504 Marrickville RdThe drive is mostly main road. Follow Canterbury Road onto New Canterbury Road, then turn off through Kintore Street and Hercules Street to the clinic. It’s 3 km and about seven minutes outside peak. There’s street parking on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade, with a few timed bays.
Buses are a real option here. The 428, 445 and 428X all travel from Canterbury to the clinic, so you can ride without changing. If you live near Canterbury station, check which of the three stops closest to home and go from there.
Open until 8pmLong days don’t have to mean skipping the dentist. Our Monday, Tuesday and Thursday hours run until 8pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 9am to 3pm. If the 428 is already part of your trip home, an evening appointment can slot straight in.
Your routine visit includes an exam, a professional clean and digital X-rays when they’re due. Read our dental check-ups guide and find out what’s involved in a scale and clean, so you know what to expect when you sit down.
Saturday family visitsSaturday mornings work well for Canterbury families with school-age kids. Book an early check-up and there’s still time for Tasker Park or Lesley Muir Reserve afterwards. First visits for little ones are short and relaxed, with no rushing and plenty of explaining.
Our children’s dental services include fissure sealants, fluoride and regular check-ups as they grow. Teenagers in contact sport can be fitted for custom mouthguards for sport, made to fit their teeth at the clinic before the season begins.
Same-visit crownsA cracked tooth can often be fixed in one appointment, as we make dental crowns in-house. If a tooth has been lost, our dental implants near Canterbury page covers single implants and All-on-4 treatment, planned from start to finish at the clinic.
Cosmetic options include teeth whitening, bonding to repair small chips, and composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn veneers. An exam comes first, then we explain costs, health fund claims and payment plans so you can decide in your own time.

Dr Dimitrios Thanos has been practising for over 25 years, with laser dentistry and digital X-rays used throughout the clinic. Canterbury sits in Canterbury-Bankstown Council, but we’re closer than the council line suggests. Meet the clinic team and read about our practice before booking.
