Easy ParkingStreet parking on Marrickville Rd
504 Marrickville RdFrom Waldron Road, follow Carlingford Street and Woods Road to Wellington Road, then Auburn Road, Ferrier Road and Brunker Road. Rookwood Road and Stacey Street bring you to the Hume Highway, which you take east before turning onto Marrickville Road. The 17.0 km run is about 34 minutes outside peak.
Parking is on the street, along Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade next to the clinic. Watch for timed bays. Chester Hill station is about 0.3 km from the suburb centre, though by train or bus you’d need a change on the way, so driving is the simpler plan.
Open until 8pmIf long days or shift work make daytime appointments hard, there are options. We stay open until 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and open 9am to 3pm on Fridays and Saturdays, so you can pick up groceries at Chester Square and still fit in a visit the same day.
Six-monthly visits usually include an exam, a clean and digital X-rays when needed. Find out what to expect from our routine dental check-ups and teeth cleaning appointments, then book both together.
Saturday family visitsIf your kids play weekend sport at Terry Lamb Complex or Nugent Park nearby, a custom sports mouthguard is a sensible piece of kit, and it can be fitted at a Saturday appointment between games.
We see children from their first check-up and explain each step in plain words before we start. Fluoride and fissure sealants are offered where they help. More details are on our children’s dental care page.
Same-visit crownsOur crowns are made in the clinic, so a damaged tooth can often be repaired with a same-day crown instead of two separate trips from Chester Hill. If teeth are missing, ask about dental implants near Chester Hill or All-on-4, planned and placed by our own team.
Cosmetic work starts with a chat about what you’d like to change. Choices include teeth whitening, bonding, and veneers in composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn. Costs are explained after the exam, and payment plans and health fund claims can be discussed.

The drive is a little over half an hour, which suits people who’d rather see the same dentist year after year. Dr Dimitrios Thanos has 25+ years in practice and nervous patients can choose happy gas or sedation. Read about The Smile Spot or meet the people here.
