504 Marrickville RdFrom central Concord, take Ian Parade and Broughton Street, then Gipps Street and Queens Road to Taylor Street and Parramatta Road. Cross via Tebbutt Street, Hathern Street, Brown Street and Cook Street to Old Canterbury Road, which brings you down to Marrickville Road. It’s 9.1 km, around 20 minutes outside peak.
Public transport from Concord isn’t simple. North Strathfield, Concord West and Strathfield stations are each around two kilometres away, and any trip here needs a change, so the car is the easier choice. Park on Marrickville Road or in MacArthur Parade beside the clinic, checking the timed bays.
Open until 8pmTwenty minutes is a fair drive for a check-up, so it helps that the timing is flexible. Evening appointments to 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays mean you can come after work, and Saturday visits from 9am leave the rest of the weekend free.

Saturday family visitsDriving the kids across for separate visits gets tiring, so you can book back-to-back appointments on a Saturday morning instead. One trip, everyone seen. Afterwards, Greenlees Park or Edwards Park nearby are there for a run around closer to home.
