504 Marrickville RdFrom Florence Avenue, head along King Street and O’Riordan Street, then Bourke Road, Coward Street and Kent Road to Ricketty Street. Canal Road takes you to the Princes Highway, and Railway Road and Gleeson Avenue bring you through to Railway Parade and on to Marrickville Road. It’s 8.2 km, about 19 minutes outside peak.
Public transport is harder. Mascot station is about two and a half kilometres from the middle of Eastlakes, and any trip to us involves a change, so driving makes more sense. Once here, park on Marrickville Road or in MacArthur Parade beside the clinic, keeping an eye on timed bays.
Open until 8pmA 19-minute drive is easier to plan when the hours are flexible. Our late finishes, up to 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, suit anyone who can’t get away during the day. Fridays and Saturdays are open from 9am to 3pm.
Regular visits include an exam, digital X-rays when due and a clean that removes tartar and surface stains. If we find something, you’ll hear about it in plain words, with costs explained up front. Read about check-ups and exams and teeth cleaning.
Saturday family visitsSaturday is often simplest for families, with the drive there and back done before lunch. Back home, Jack Mundey Reserve, Griffiths Reserve and Vernon Avenue Reserve are nearby for a run around. Children’s appointments are relaxed, and each step is explained before it happens.
We provide dental care for children from their first visit, including fluoride, fissure sealants and fillings. Young athletes can have a custom sports mouthguard made from a mould of their teeth, so it fits snugly and stays put during games.
Same-visit crownsReplacing a missing tooth is a process, and it’s easier when one clinic manages it. Dental implants near Eastlakes, including All-on-4, are planned and placed by our team. For cracked or weakened teeth, in-clinic crowns are often made and fitted in one visit.
If you’d like to change how your teeth look, teeth whitening is a simple place to start, and bonding can repair small chips. Dental veneers in E-max, composite or Zirkonzahn are an option for larger changes. Choices and costs are explained after an exam.

Dr Dimitrios Thanos has been in practice for more than 25 years and provides general dentistry alongside laser dentistry and digital X-rays. For a dental problem that can’t wait, call when we open for the earliest emergency dentist slot. Meet our team or read about The Smile Spot.
