504 Marrickville RdTake Haig Avenue out to Henry Lawson Drive, then Milperra Road and The River Road to pick up the M5 Motorway heading east. Leave at Wolli Avenue and follow Bray Avenue, Hartill-Law Avenue, Homer Street, Wardell Road and Margaret Street. The route ends in MacArthur Parade, right where the side parking is. It’s 20.6 km, about 34 minutes outside peak.
Georges Hall has no train station of its own, and no bus runs straight from here to Dulwich Hill, so public transport would mean changing. The drive is the simplest way. Besides MacArthur Parade, there are spaces along Marrickville Road, though some of them are timed.
Open until 8pmPlenty of people would rather see the dentist once the working day is done. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays the doors stay open until 8pm, so a late visit doesn’t eat into your day. Friday and Saturday appointments run from 9am to 3pm.
