Glebe Check-Ups After A Day In Town

Glebe is only about three kilometres from the city, so plenty of residents spend their day there and head home in the evening. With appointments until 8pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, you can catch the light rail out after work and still make it.

Your appointment covers an exam of your teeth and gums, digital X-rays when they’re due and a clear plan if anything needs attention. Read about what a check-up involves and what to expect from a professional scale and polish.

Kids Welcome

A Family Dentist For Glebe Children

After a morning at William Carlton Gardens or Jean Cawley Reserve, a Saturday dental visit can slot in before lunch. For younger kids, the light rail ride can turn the trip into a small outing of its own.

First visits are gentle and unrushed, and later ones include fluoride, sealants and fillings if they’re needed. Learn about dentistry for kids, or book a fitting for custom sports mouthguards before the season starts.

Yes. The L1 runs from Glebe stop to Dulwich Grove and Dulwich Hill, both close to the clinic, with no change needed.

How long is the drive from Glebe?

About 15 minutes outside peak for 6.3 km, via Wigram Road, Parramatta Road and New Canterbury Road, then Wardell Road.

Is there parking if I drive from Glebe?

Yes. There’s street parking on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade beside the clinic. Some bays are timed, so check the signs.

Is there a late-night dentist near Glebe?

We’re open until 8pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and 9am to 3pm on Friday and Saturday. Wednesday and Sunday are closed.

What should Glebe patients do about a toothache?

Call (02) 9569 0199 as soon as we open and tell us it’s urgent. We’ll book the earliest appointment available.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes. Book online or give us a ring. Tell us if you’ve had a hard time at the dentist before, and we’ll plan around it.

Do you treat children from Glebe?

Yes, from first visits through to fluoride, sealants, small fillings and sports mouthguards. Saturdays are popular with families.

Are dental implants offered to Glebe residents?

Yes. Single implants and All-on-4 are planned and placed at our Dulwich Hill clinic, and costs are explained after an exam. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person. We talk you through the alternatives at your consultation, and you are welcome to get a second opinion.
