The Route From Gymea Bay To Dulwich Hill

Gymea Bay takes its name from the small inlet on the north side of the Port Hacking estuary, and the drive starts on Gymea Bay Road itself. Milburn Road and The Boulevarde bring you to the Princes Highway, which you follow north before Gannon Street and Unwins Bridge Road. Richardsons Crescent, Carrington Road, Warren Road, Illawarra Road and Petersham Road finish on Marrickville Road.

Allow about 42 minutes outside peak for 21.6 km. Gymea station is 1.6 km from the centre and Miranda 2.1 km, but there’s no direct bus or light rail to us, so public transport needs a change and the car is easier. Park on Marrickville Road out front or in MacArthur Parade at the side, noting timed bays.

Regular Check-Ups From Gymea Bay

Coming up from the Shire takes a chunk of time, so we’ve kept the hours wide. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday run 9am to 8pm, and Friday and Saturday 9am to 3pm. Evening slots suit anyone heading home from work in the inner west or the city.

During a check-up we look at each tooth, check the gums and take digital X-rays when they’re due. Most patients need only a couple of visits a year. Find out what to expect from your dental check-up and a professional clean.

Children’s Check-Ups For Gymea Bay Families

Kalkada Reserve and Alcheringa Reserve sit close to home, with Westfield Miranda 2 km away for the weekend shop. A Saturday morning appointment can be the easiest way to get everyone’s check-up out of the way.

We keep first visits short and friendly so children get used to the chair. Sealants and fluoride help protect new adult teeth, and a mouthguard cast from their own teeth is worth it for contact sport. Read about children’s dentistry and custom mouthguards.

Teeth dull over time, and small chips add up. We can brighten them with professional teeth whitening, repair edges with bonding or plan veneers in composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn, after an exam so you know the options and costs.

Damaged teeth can be capped with a crown made in our clinic, often in one visit. Lost a tooth? Our page on dental implants near Gymea Bay covers single implants and All-on-4, all planned and placed at Dulwich Hill.
