What’s The Drive From Killara Like?

Killara is on the Upper North Shore, about 14 km north-west of the CBD, so the trip takes in a fair slice of Sydney. Start along Culworth Avenue and Stanhope Road, join the Pacific Highway briefly, then take Fiddens Wharf Road down to Lady Game Drive. Ryde Road, Lane Cove Road, Devlin Street and Church Street bring you to Concord Road, Homebush Bay Drive and the Western Motorway, then on to Marrickville Road.

It’s 25.9 km and about 45 minutes outside peak, and peak traffic will add to that. Gordon station is 1.3 km from the suburb centre and Lindfield 1.4 km, but public transport to the clinic needs a change, so the car is simplest. Street parking is on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade beside us, and some bays are timed.

Killara Check-Ups Without Losing A Workday

Forty-five minutes each way is a real chunk of time, so most people coming from Killara plan around it. Appointments until 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays let you set off later in the day, and Friday or Saturday sessions from 9am suit anyone who’d rather keep weeknights free.

A routine visit includes an exam, a scale and polish, and digital X-rays when they’re due. If you’ve been seeing someone near the Gordon Centre or Lindfield Shopping Village, tell us when your last clean was so the visit can be planned properly. Saturdays For Families

Bringing The Kids Down From Killara

With a drive this length, it makes sense to bundle the family into one Saturday session. Book siblings and parents back to back between 9am and 3pm and you’ll be home in time for a run around Selkirk Park or Green Gate Park nearby.

First visits are kept relaxed, with check-ups, fluoride and fissure sealants added as children grow. Young players in winter sport can have a mouthguard shaped to their own bite. Read about dentistry for children and custom mouthguards for sport.

Implants, Crowns And Veneers For Killara Patients

Longer trips pay off most when treatment needs several steps. Our team plans and places dental implants near Killara at the clinic, from a single tooth to All-on-4. Crowns are made in-house, so many are fitted in the same visit rather than over two trips.

For cosmetic changes, ask about teeth whitening, bonding, or veneers in composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn. Costs are explained once you’ve had an exam, and payment plans or health fund claims can be talked through at the clinic.
