Easy ParkingStreet parking on Marrickville Rd
504 Marrickville RdBy car, head along Denison Road, turn into Dulwich Street and you’ll come out on Marrickville Road, with Durham Street and Durham Lane taking you round to the clinic. It’s 1.5 km, roughly four minutes outside peak. Park on Marrickville Road or in MacArthur Parade beside the building, where a few bays are timed.
Leaving the car at home is easy. The L1 light rail runs from Lewisham West to Dulwich Grove and Dulwich Hill, both a short walk from the clinic, and the 428, 445 and 428X buses also come our way.
Open until 8pmThe trip is short enough to slot a visit into a lunch break or straight after work. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday appointments run until 8pm, and on Friday and Saturday the doors are open from 9am to 3pm. Wednesday and Sunday the clinic is closed.
A routine visit is an exam, a scale and clean, and digital X-rays when they’re due. If it has been a while, start with our dental check-ups page, then read what professional teeth cleaning involves.
Saturday family visitsSaturday appointments suit Lewisham families who’d rather not pull the kids out of school. Book a morning visit, then head to Cadigal Reserve or Harvest Park afterwards. First visits are kept short and relaxed so younger children can get used to the chair.
Our children’s dental care covers check-ups, fissure sealants and fluoride. Kids who play contact sport can be fitted for a custom mouthguard before the season starts, so it’s ready for the first game of the year.
Same-visit crownsCosmetic work starts with a conversation, not a sales pitch. We look at your teeth, talk through teeth whitening, bonding or composite and E-max veneers, and explain costs after the exam so you can decide in your own time.
When a tooth is cracked or heavily filled, a crown can often be designed and fitted in one visit, because we make dental crowns in-house. For a missing tooth, read about dental implants near Lewisham, planned and placed at the same clinic.

Dr Dimitrios Thanos has been practising for more than 25 years and leads the clinic. Get to know the team before you book, or read more about The Smile Spot, including how laser dentistry and digital X-rays fit into everyday care.

Yes. Single implants and All-on-4 are planned and placed in Dulwich Hill, so every step from consultation to final tooth happens in one place. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person. We talk you through the alternatives at your consultation, and you are welcome to get a second opinion.
