Is 29 Minutes Too Far For A McMahons Point Check-Up?

There are dentists closer to McMahons Point, and for some people that will matter. If you do make the trip, the hours help. Appointments run until 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, so a late visit can follow a day at the office, and Saturdays run 9am to 3pm.

A dental check-up here covers teeth, gums and older fillings, with digital X-rays when due. Booking a scale and clean in the same appointment means one trip instead of two, which matters more when you’re coming from the North Shore.

Weekend Family Visits

Bringing McMahons Point Kids To The Clinic

Sawmillers Reserve, Mary French Reserve and Watt Park are all close by for weekend play. When you’re planning dental visits for the whole family, Saturday from 9am lets everyone come together, so one drive covers several check-ups.

Children’s visits are relaxed and explained in plain language. See our page on dentistry for kids. If they’re playing rugby, netball or another contact sport, a custom sports mouthguard is made from impressions of their teeth for a proper fit.

Implants, Crowns And Veneers For McMahons Point

Longer treatments are where one clinic makes the drive worthwhile. Implants and All-on-4 are planned and placed here, start to finish, so you’re not passed between practices. Read more about dental implants near McMahons Point. Cracked teeth can often get crowns made on site in one visit.

For cosmetic changes, teeth whitening and bonding are simple places to start, and veneers in E-max, Zirkonzahn or composite can reshape chipped or uneven teeth. We’ll go through costs, payment plans and health fund claims at the clinic once you’ve had an exam.

Is parking available near the clinic?

Yes, on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade alongside the clinic. Some bays are timed, so check the signs when you arrive.

Can McMahons Point patients book Saturday appointments?

Yes. Saturdays run from 9am to 3pm. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays go until 8pm, and Friday is 9am to 3pm.

Is it worth travelling from McMahons Point for implants?

Implants take several visits, so it helps that everything happens in one clinic. Dr Thanos plans and places implants and All-on-4 here, with costs explained after your consultation.
