504 Marrickville RdMost of this 22.2 km trip is motorway, which keeps it to around 33 minutes outside peak. Head along Sherwood Road and Merrylands Road to Burnett Street, join the Western Motorway and stay with it through the M4 East Tunnel until it lets you out onto Parramatta Road.
Tebbutt Street, Hathern Street, Brown Street and Cook Street bring you to Old Canterbury Road and Toothill Street, then on to Marrickville Road. Merrylands station is about 2.2 km from the suburb, but the train trip needs a change. Park on the street or in MacArthur Parade, watching for timed bays.
