504 Marrickville RdFrom Park Lane and Henry Street, take Railway Road to Gleeson Avenue and Railway Parade, then Marrickville Road carries you most of the way to the clinic. Turn into MacArthur Parade to park beside us. The 2.9 km trip is about eight minutes outside peak, and Marrickville Road has street parking too, some of it timed.
The 418 bus goes from Sydenham to the clinic with no change, so you don’t need the car at all. Light rail doesn’t run through Sydenham, which leaves the bus or a short drive as the easy ways across.
Open until 8pmSydenham is surrounded by Marrickville, St Peters and Tempe, and it’s a simple run along Marrickville Road to us. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday appointments go until 8pm, so you can come after work. Friday and Saturday hours are 9am to 3pm.
Book a routine check-up for an exam and X-rays when they’re due, and pair it with a professional scale and clean to clear away tartar that brushing at home leaves behind. Both usually fit into the one visit.
Saturday family visitsA Saturday visit fits around a morning at Sydenham Green or Tempe Lands, and nobody misses school. First visits for young children are short and easy, so they come away comfortable with the dentist and happy to return next time.
Find out about kids’ dentistry, from first check-ups to fluoride and fissure sealants. Children who play sport can be fitted for a mouthguard made for them, shaped to their own teeth rather than a one-size-fits-all option, in time for the next season.
Same-visit crownsInterested in whiter teeth or fixing a chip? Talk to us about teeth whitening, bonding or composite and E-max veneers. An exam comes first, and you’ll get a straight answer on what’s possible and what it costs, with health fund claims and payment plans covered in person.
When a tooth breaks, crowns made in-house can often be fitted in the same appointment. If you’re missing teeth, read about dental implants near Sydenham, including single implants and All-on-4, all planned and placed at our clinic.
The clinic is led by Dr Dimitrios Thanos, who has 25+ years in practice, and uses laser dentistry and digital X-rays for everyday care. Find out more about The Smile Spot or meet our team before you book your first visit from Sydenham.
