504 Marrickville RdFrom Coranto Street, take Great North Road down to Parramatta Road. Weave through Tebbutt, Hathern, Brown and Cook Streets to Old Canterbury Road, then Toothill Street to New Canterbury Road. Herbert Street and Seaview Street bring you onto Marrickville Road. Plan on 7.1 km, roughly 16 minutes outside peak.
Wareemba has no train station of its own, and there’s no direct bus or light rail to the clinic, so public transport means changing services. Driving is the straightforward option. Park on Marrickville Road or in MacArthur Parade beside us, and check the signs for timed bays.
Open until 8pmWareemba is one of Sydney’s smallest suburbs, tucked beside the Parramatta River, so plenty of errands mean a short drive out anyway. Make a dental visit one of them on a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evening up to 8pm. Friday and Saturday appointments run 9am to 3pm.
Your check-up and exam looks at teeth, gums and old fillings, with digital X-rays taken when you’re due. Then a dental scale and polish clears hardened tartar from the spots a toothbrush struggles to reach.
Saturday family visitsAfter a morning at Halliday Park or Storey Park nearby, a Saturday appointment is easy to slot in. Children’s first visits are short and friendly, designed to help them feel at ease in the chair. Fissure sealants and fluoride can come later, as their adult teeth arrive.
Does your child play rugby, soccer or hockey? A guard made from a mould of their own teeth is shaped to their bite. Read about our custom mouthguards and the care we give children and teenagers.
Same-visit crownsDiscoloured or uneven teeth are frequent reasons people book a cosmetic consult. We offer whitening for stained teeth, bonding and veneers made from composite or E-max. Costs and suitable options are explained clearly once we’ve examined your mouth.
If a tooth has cracked, we can usually fit one of our in-clinic crowns in a single appointment. Missing teeth can be replaced with implants or All-on-4, planned and placed at Dulwich Hill. See our page on dental implants near Wareemba.

Sixteen minutes from the bay, you’ll find Dr Dimitrios Thanos, who brings over 25 years of practice to each patient, plus laser dentistry and digital X-rays. Find out who works here and how The Smile Spot began before you book.
