504 Marrickville RdLeave via Ambyne Street and Woolooware Road North to Captain Cook Drive, then Taren Point Road and Rocky Point Road bring you up to the Princes Highway. From the highway, Gannon Street, Unwins Bridge Road, Richardsons Crescent and Carrington Road lead to Warren Road and Illawarra Road, then on to Marrickville Road.
The trip is 20.1 km, about 39 minutes outside peak. Woolooware station is 0.5 km from the suburb centre, with Cronulla and Caringbah each 1.6 km away, but getting to us by public transport means a change, so driving is easier. Park on Marrickville Road or in MacArthur Parade beside the clinic, and check the timed bays.
Open until 8pmIf your job takes you into the city or the inner west, a late slot on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday means you can call in on the way home instead of making a separate trip from the Shire. Patients are seen until 8pm on those nights.
Each routine visit covers an exam, a clean to remove tartar and digital X-rays when they’re due. How often you come back depends on your teeth and gums, and we’ll talk that through with you. See check-ups at The Smile Spot and scale and clean appointments.
Saturday family visitsWith Woolooware Oval, Jenola Fields Reserve and Hagger Park nearby, plenty of local weekends involve some kind of sport. A custom guard is shaped from impressions of your child’s teeth, and those can be taken on a Saturday morning before the game.
For younger children, early visits focus on getting comfortable, then check-ups, fluoride and sealants as adult teeth arrive. Booking brothers and sisters together saves a second drive up from the Shire. Learn more about kids’ dental care and sports mouthguards made to fit.
Same-visit crownsChipped a tooth or unhappy with the colour? Options include professional whitening, bonding, and veneers in composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn. Every plan starts with a consultation, and costs are explained after an exam so you can weigh things up at home.
Broken or heavily filled teeth may need a crown, and ours are made in-house, often on the day. Missing teeth can be replaced with dental implants near Woolooware, including All-on-4, all handled at one clinic. Read more on same-visit dental crowns.

The practice is run by principal dentist Dr Dimitrios Thanos, who has more than 25 years in practice. You can meet the team or read about the clinic, then decide whether the trip from Woolooware makes sense for you.
