The Drive From The Forest

How Long Is The Drive From Frenchs Forest?

Honestly, it’s a proper trip. From Frenchs Forest Road West you follow Forest Way and Warringah Road, then Babbage Road, Boundary Street and Penshurst Street through to Mowbray Road and Willoughby Road. The Warringah Freeway and Cahill Expressway carry you south, and from there it’s on to Marrickville Road. Allow about 48 minutes outside peak for the 26.6 km.

No bus or train runs straight from Frenchs Forest to us, so public transport means a change and the car is the simplest option. When you arrive, there’s street parking on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade beside the clinic. A few bays are timed.

Making Frenchs Forest Check-Ups Worth The Drive

With a drive this long, it helps to get everything done in one sitting. A routine visit covers an exam, digital X-rays when they’re due and a scale and clean, so you aren’t coming back for small things. Read more about dental check-ups and professional teeth cleaning.

Three evenings a week the clinic stays open until 8pm, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fridays and Saturdays run 9am to 3pm. Wednesdays and Sundays we’re closed, which is worth knowing before you plan the trip.

Bringing Frenchs Forest Kids In

A Saturday appointment can sit around weekend sport at Rabbett Reserve or Akora Reserve, and booking siblings back to back means one trip covers the family. First visits are kept relaxed, with fluoride and fissure sealants when a child needs them.

Kids who play contact sport need a guard that actually fits. Have a look at children’s dentistry and our custom sports mouthguards, which are made from an impression of your child’s own teeth rather than boiled and bitten at home.

Cosmetic And Restorative Work For Frenchs Forest

Some people from The Forest come to us for one particular job. Teeth whitening, bonding and veneers in composite or E-max all start with a consultation, so you hear the options and costs before anything is booked.

Because crowns are made in-house, a broken tooth can be finished in the same visit, which matters when you’ve driven 26.6 km. Missing a tooth? We plan and place dental implants near Frenchs Forest, including All-on-4, under the one roof.
