Getting From Oatlands To Marrickville Road

It’s 20.3 km, close to 31 minutes when the roads are clear. Start on Belmore Street East and Prince Street, pick up Bettington Road, then Kissing Point Road to James Ruse Drive. The Western Motorway and the M4 East Tunnel do most of the work before Parramatta Road, Tebbutt Street, Hathern Street, Brown Street and Cook Street bring you on to Marrickville Road.

The Dundas light rail stop is 1.0 km from Oatlands, but that line doesn’t join the L1, so public transport here needs a change. Driving is simpler. Park on Marrickville Road or in MacArthur Parade, minding the timed bays.

Oatlands Check-Ups Without Taking Leave

Taking a morning off for the dentist gets old quickly. Thanks to 8pm closing on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, an Oatlands resident can finish the day, drive across on the M4 and sit in the chair by early evening.

Routine care means an exam of teeth and gums, a clean to lift plaque and tartar, and digital X-rays when they’re due. Take a look at what a check-up covers and how a professional clean works.

Growing Smiles

Dentistry For Oatlands Children

Young patients do well with regular, unhurried visits. On Saturdays, open 9am to 3pm, children can come in without missing school, and the first appointment is mostly about getting comfortable in the chair and meeting the dentist.

If your kids play weekend sport at Barton Park or George Gollan Reserve, contact games call for a mouthguard. A custom one is made from impressions of their teeth. See our children’s dentistry and custom mouthguards for sport.
