504 Marrickville RdA good part of the trip is motorway. Head out via Long Street and Warren Road, then Betts Road and Jersey Road to the Western Motorway. Stay on through the M4 East Tunnel, exit at Parramatta Road, then wind through Tebbutt, Hathern, Brown and Cook Streets to Old Canterbury Road and on to Marrickville Road. It’s 26.8 km, about 38 minutes outside peak.
Public transport is harder. The 812, 813 and 814 get around Smithfield, but none comes this way, so you’d change at least once and driving is simpler. There’s street parking on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade next to us, and a few bays are timed.
Open until 8pmSmithfield is a mix of low-set homes, industrial pockets and open space, and crossing to the Inner West takes some planning. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday we see patients until 8pm, so you can finish work and still make it. Fridays and Saturdays run 9am to 3pm.

Not a direct one. The 812, 813 and 814 run around Smithfield, but reaching Dulwich Hill means changing along the way, so driving is usually easier.
