Driving From Carlton To Marrickville Road

From Shaftesbury Street, go via Andover Street and Railway Parade to Lily Street and Forest Road. Preddys Road connects you to New Illawarra Road and Bexley Road, then Slade Road, Hartill-Law Avenue and Homer Street lead to Wardell Road and on to Marrickville Road. The 10.3 km trip takes around 23 minutes outside peak.

Carlton station is close to the suburb’s centre, with Allawah not far away either, but no train or bus reaches the clinic without a change. For most visits, driving makes more sense. Street parking is on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade, and some bays are timed.

Carlton Families, Saturday Bookings And Mouthguards

Tiley Reserve, Joy Mead Park and Anglo Square are close to Carlton’s centre, handy for a run around once a Saturday check-up is done. Our Saturday hours finish at 3pm, which leaves the afternoon free.

Kids’ visits cover first check-ups, fluoride, fissure sealants and the odd knock from play. See our dentistry for children, and if your child plays a contact sport, ask about a mouthguard made to fit their teeth.

Street parking is on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade beside the clinic. Timed bays apply in places.

Is there a late-opening dentist near Carlton?

Yes. We’re open until 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9am to 3pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

How do new patients from Carlton book?

Call (02) 9569 0199 or book online. Tell us if you’re anxious so we can discuss happy gas or sedation.

Do you look after Carlton children?

Yes. We see children for first visits, regular check-ups, sealants and sports mouthguards, and Saturday hours suit school weeks.

Are implants available for Carlton patients?

Yes. Implants and All-on-4 are planned and placed at our Dulwich Hill clinic after an exam, with costs explained up front. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person. We talk you through the alternatives at your consultation, and you are welcome to get a second opinion.
