Easy ParkingStreet parking on Marrickville Rd
504 Marrickville RdPayten Street and Renn Street take you up to Park Road and the Princes Highway. Leave the highway at Gannon Street. Unwins Bridge Road leads to Richardsons Crescent and Carrington Road, and from there Warren Road, Illawarra Road and Petersham Road carry you onto Marrickville Road. It’s 11.4 km, roughly 24 minutes outside peak.
Carlton, Allawah and Kogarah stations sit within a couple of kilometres, and the 947 and 958 serve the area, but neither rail nor bus comes through to the clinic. Public transport needs at least one change, so driving is easier. There’s parking on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade.
Open until 8pmTaking a morning off for the dentist isn’t always practical. Three nights a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, appointments continue until 8pm, which gives you time to get home to Kogarah Bay, pick up the car and come over. Friday and Saturday hours are 9am to 3pm.
Your check-up appointment is a careful look at teeth and gums, using digital X-rays when they’re due. A dental clean removes hardened tartar and surface staining, and doing both together keeps visits to a minimum.
Saturday family visitsWith Leighton Park, Corry Reserve and Coxhead Gardens nearby, there’s no shortage of places for Kogarah Bay kids to play. Saturday mornings at the clinic let you book siblings back to back and still have most of the day free.
First visits are taken slowly so children feel at ease. Read about family and children’s dentistry. Playing footy or another contact sport? A custom-made mouthguard is fitted from impressions of your child’s teeth, and it’s worth checking each season as they grow.
Same-visit crownsIf staining or a chipped edge bothers you, start with a chat. Whitening your teeth, bonding and veneers in composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn are all available, and we’ll explain what each involves and costs after an exam.
Broken or root-filled teeth often need the strength of a crown. Ours are made in-house, often in the same visit. Where a tooth is gone, see dental implants near Kogarah Bay, including All-on-4 for patients replacing a full arch.

Dr Dimitrios Thanos leads the clinic with over 25 years in practice. Before you visit, you can read about our team and find out more about The Smile Spot, from laser dentistry to in-house crowns.

Yes. Single implants and All-on-4 are planned and placed by Dr Thanos at our clinic, and costs are explained after your consultation.
