Getting To Dulwich Hill From Beauty Point

Beauty Point sits on the Lower North Shore, so this is a cross-harbour trip. Head out along Bay Street and Glen Street to Cowles Road and Military Road, then Falcon Street feeds you onto the Warringah Freeway. The Bradfield Highway and Western Distributor take you across, and The Crescent and Johnston Street lead into the inner west.

All up it’s 19 km and about 37 minutes outside peak. No bus runs straight to the clinic and public transport needs a change, so driving is the practical choice. Street parking is on Marrickville Road and MacArthur Parade, right beside us, though some bays are timed.

When A Beauty Point Patient Makes The Trip

Honestly, there are dentists closer to home. The trip makes sense if you work nearer the inner west, have family around Dulwich Hill, or need an evening appointment. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday run until 8pm, so you can come straight from work instead of taking time off.

A routine visit is an exam, a clean and digital X-rays when they’re due, and we’ll talk you through anything we notice. Read more about regular dental check-ups and scale and clean appointments before you book.

Weekend Family Visits

Beauty Point Kids And Saturday Appointments

Saturdays from 9am to 3pm make a joint family visit possible without pulling anyone out of school. Afterwards there’s still the rest of the day for a walk at Spit West Reserve or Parriwi Park back home.

Little ones start with relaxed first visits that take things slowly, and older kids in contact sport can have a mouthguard made to fit. See dental care for children and custom-fitted sports mouthguards for the details.

Implants, Crowns And Veneers For Beauty Point

Longer journeys make the most sense for larger treatment, where planning everything in one place saves trips. We assess, plan and place dental implants near Beauty Point here, including All-on-4, and you’ll get a clear explanation of costs once we’ve examined you.

Same-visit dental crowns are made in-house, so one appointment often does the job instead of two. For appearance, there’s professional teeth whitening, bonding, and composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn dental veneers to talk through at a consultation.

It’s 19 km by road. Allow about 37 minutes outside peak via Military Road, the Warringah Freeway and the Western Distributor.

Can I catch a bus from Beauty Point?

No local bus goes straight to the clinic, so you’d be changing services along the way. Most people from the Lower North Shore find the drive simpler.

Where can I park when I arrive?

There’s street parking along Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade next to the clinic. Some spaces have time limits, so read the signs.

Are you open on Saturdays for Beauty Point families?

Yes, 9am to 3pm on Saturdays and Fridays. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday we stay open until 8pm. Wednesday and Sunday we’re closed.

What if I have a toothache in Beauty Point?

Ring (02) 9569 0199 when we open and let us know it’s urgent. We’ll give you the soonest appointment we can.

Of course. Book online or call (02) 9569 0199, and tell us about any worries or nerves so we can plan your first visit.

Yes. We see children from their very first check-up, and we make sports mouthguards for older kids. Saturday slots suit working parents.

Is All-on-4 offered for Beauty Point patients?

Yes. All-on-4 and single dental implants are planned and placed at our Dulwich Hill clinic after a consultation and exam. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person. We talk you through the alternatives at your consultation, and you are welcome to get a second opinion.
