Driving From Bundeena To Dulwich Hill

We’ll be honest: it’s 46.6 km and roughly 75 minutes outside peak. Leave the village on Bundeena Drive and Sir Bertram Stevens Drive, then take Audley Road and Farnell Avenue up to the Princes Highway. Follow the highway north to Gannon Street, then Unwins Bridge Road, Richardsons Crescent and Carrington Road, on to Marrickville Road.

Public transport isn’t practical. The 989 serves the village, but reaching the clinic would take several changes, so driving is the simplest option. Once here, look for street parking on Marrickville Road or in MacArthur Parade beside us; some bays are timed.

Check-Ups Worth The Drive From Bundeena

For a beachside village this far out, a quick appointment isn’t much use. Tell us you’re coming from Bundeena and the team will try to fit your exam, scale and clean, and any digital X-rays into one longer visit, with follow-up work grouped where it makes sense.

Saturdays from 9am and evenings until 8pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday give you room to plan around work or school. See what our check-ups and teeth cleaning include before you commit to the drive.

Bundeena Families: One Drive For Everyone

If the whole family is due for a check, ask about back-to-back appointments on the same Saturday. It turns a long drive into one outing instead of several. We look after children’s teeth from first visits through to fissure sealants and small fillings.

If your kids play sport, perhaps near Roger Summers Reserve or Berenice Forster Park, a custom mouthguard is worth having. It’s made from a mould of their teeth, and the impression can be taken during a family visit.

Implants, Crowns And Cosmetic Care For Bundeena Patients

Bigger treatment is where the trip makes most sense, because it can be planned in stages around your diary. Single implants and All-on-4 are assessed, planned and placed here, with each appointment set out in advance. Learn more about dental implants near Bundeena.

Crowns are made in-house, so a same-day crown often takes one sitting instead of two. For cosmetic changes there’s teeth whitening, bonding and veneers in composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn, with costs explained after an exam.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How far is The Smile Spot from Bundeena?

It’s 46.6 km by road, about 75 minutes outside peak, via Sir Bertram Stevens Drive, the Princes Highway and Unwins Bridge Road.

Is there public transport from Bundeena to Dulwich Hill?

Not in any simple way. The 989 runs locally, but the full journey takes several changes, so driving is the easier choice for most trips.

Will I find parking near the clinic?

Street parking is available along Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade next to the clinic, though some bays are time-limited.

When can Bundeena patients come in?

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 8pm, and Friday and Saturday from 9am to 3pm. We’re closed on Wednesday and Sunday.

What should I do in a dental emergency in Bundeena?

Phone (02) 9569 0199 at opening and we’ll book the earliest available time. Allow about 75 minutes for the drive when you plan your day.

Do you take new patients from Bundeena?

Yes. Book online or call, and mention you’re coming from Bundeena so a longer first visit can be arranged if that suits you.

Can you see my Bundeena kids and me in one visit?

Often, yes. Ask for consecutive Saturday appointments and the team will do what it can to see everyone in the same morning.

Is implant treatment practical from Bundeena?

It can be. Implants take a few appointments, planned ahead so you know each date early. Assessment, placement and the final crown all happen at our Dulwich Hill clinic. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person. We talk you through the alternatives at your consultation, and you are welcome to get a second opinion.
