Getting Here

Carss Park To Marrickville Road

Start on Allawah Avenue and Carwar Avenue, join the Princes Highway and stay on it to Gannon Street. Unwins Bridge Road, Richardsons Crescent and Carrington Road bring you to Warren Road, then Illawarra Road and Petersham Road lead onto Marrickville Road, finishing in MacArthur Parade right beside the clinic.

Expect 12.2 km and about 25 minutes outside peak. Allawah station is 1.9 km away and Carlton 2.2 km, and the 958, 959, 970 and 971 run nearby, yet none come straight here. The car is simplest, and MacArthur Parade has street parking, some of it timed.

Keeping Up With Check-Ups From Carss Park

It’s easy to let six-monthly visits slip when the dentist isn’t around the corner. Booking your next check-up and exam before you leave, at a time that works for you, keeps things regular without much thought.

Most visits pair an exam with a scale and clean and, when due, digital X-rays. Evening appointments until 8pm on three weekdays help if you’d rather not take time off work, and Friday is open from 9am to 3pm.

Saturday Dentistry For Carss Park Families

Carss Bush Park, nearby Todd Park and Coxhead Gardens give local families plenty of space outdoors. Saturday appointments between 9am and 3pm let you book the kids in together and still enjoy the rest of the weekend.

First visits are kept short and unhurried. Children’s appointments cover cleans, fluoride and sealants, all explained in kids’ dentistry. Playing contact sport? A fitted mouthguard is made from a mould of their teeth so it sits properly.

Crowns And Implants For Carss Park Patients

When a tooth breaks, we can often prepare it, make the crown in-house and fit it in one appointment, saving another drive up the highway. Read about dental crowns at The Smile Spot. For missing teeth, see dental implants near Carss Park.

On the cosmetic side, teeth whitening and bonding can lift a tired smile, while composite or E-max veneers change shape and colour more noticeably. A consultation comes first, with your options and costs explained clearly.

Is there public transport from Carss Park?

Not a direct service. Allawah and Carlton stations and the local 958, 959, 970 and 971 services all need a change, so driving is easier.

Where do Carss Park patients park?

Park in MacArthur Parade, which runs beside the clinic, or along Marrickville Road. Some bays are timed, so check before leaving the car.

Can I come on a Saturday from Carss Park?

Yes, Saturdays from 9am to 3pm. We’re also open until 8pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and 9am to 3pm Friday.

Do you see emergencies from Carss Park?

Yes. Ring (02) 9569 0199 when the clinic opens, describe the problem, and we’ll book you in at the earliest free time.

Are you accepting new patients?

Do you treat children from Carss Park?

Yes, from first visits through to teenagers. We offer check-ups, sealants and sports mouthguards, with Saturday times for families.

Can I get implants without travelling further than Dulwich Hill?

Yes. Consultations, single implants and All-on-4 are planned and completed at our clinic, with costs explained after an exam. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person. We talk you through the alternatives at your consultation, and you are welcome to get a second opinion.
