504 Marrickville RdPyrmont Bay stop is a short walk from the Darling Harbour waterfront, with The Star and Convention stops close by as well. Any of them puts you on the L1, which carries on to Dulwich Grove and Dulwich Hill. There’s no change, and the clinic is a short walk from both.
If you’re driving, head out on Murray Street and Pyrmont Bridge Road to Parramatta Road, then Cannon Street, Westbourne Street and Crystal Street to New Canterbury Road. Wardell Road takes you to Marrickville Road and MacArthur Parade, where there’s street parking. It’s 7.7 km, about 20 minutes outside peak.
Open until 8pmIf you work among Darling Harbour’s shops, venues and walkways, a lunchtime appointment rarely fits. Our late finishes, 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, give you a window once your shift is over. Fridays and Saturdays run from 9am to 3pm.
A routine visit means an exam, digital X-rays if due, and a scale and polish to clear built-up tartar. You’ll see what we see and hear about any next steps. Read more about routine dental exams and teeth cleaning appointments.
Saturday family visitsIf the car mostly stays parked at home, the light rail is handy for families, and a Saturday ride out can be part of the morning. Afterwards, Pyrmont Bay Park or Ballaarat Park nearby is a good spot for little legs to stretch.
Children’s dental visits here cover check-ups, fluoride, fissure sealants and fillings, explained in a way kids understand. For sporty children, custom sports mouthguards are made from a mould of their teeth so they fit well during training and games.
Same-visit crownsTeeth that are chipped, worn or stained have a few options. Teeth whitening suits staining, bonding handles small chips, and veneers made from E-max, Zirkonzahn or composite change shape and colour. You’ll get an exam and a clear explanation of costs first.
Badly damaged teeth may need a crown, and with crowns made in-house the work is often done in one visit. For a missing tooth, dental implants near Darling Harbour and All-on-4 are planned and placed by our team at the Dulwich Hill clinic.

Dr Dimitrios Thanos has more than 25 years in practice, covering general dentistry through to implants. If something’s urgent, ring at opening for the earliest emergency dentist visit. Meet the team or read about The Smile Spot and how a first appointment runs.
