Easy ParkingStreet parking on Marrickville Rd
504 Marrickville RdHead out along Bay Street to New South Head Road and take the Cross City Tunnel, which links to the Western Distributor. Drop down The Crescent and Johnston Street to Parramatta Road, then Cannon Street, Westbourne Street and Crystal Street lead to New Canterbury Road and on to Marrickville Road.
All up it’s 13.1 km, about 26 minutes outside peak. Edgecliff station sits 0.7 km from the centre of Double Bay, and the 323 to 328 run nearby, but neither gets you to Dulwich Hill without changing. It’s easier to drive and park on Marrickville Road or MacArthur Parade.
Open until 8pmThursday evenings show how we try to make the drive easy: the clinic stays open until 8pm, so you can come across once the tunnel has cleared. Mondays and Tuesdays run just as late, if those nights suit you better.
At a regular check-up we look closely at teeth, gums and existing work, with digital X-rays when due. Add a hygiene appointment to keep tartar under control, and you’re usually done for another six months.
Saturday family visitsAfter a Saturday morning kicking a ball at Steyne Park or nearby Foster Park, a dental visit between 9am and 3pm can slot into the same day. We see children from their first appointment onwards, at a pace that suits them.
Visits for kids cover check-ups, fluoride and sealants, explained in a way they’ll follow. For school or club sport, custom-fitted mouthguards are made from moulds of their teeth. Parents can book their own exam alongside. More on children’s dental visits.
Same-visit crownsIf you’d like a brighter or more even smile, start with a consultation about whitening your teeth, bonding or E-max and Zirkonzahn veneers. We’ll explain what each option involves and what it costs, so you can decide without pressure.
For a cracked tooth, our same-visit crowns are made in the clinic. Where a tooth is missing, see dental implants near Double Bay; consultations, placement and All-on-4 treatment all happen at our Dulwich Hill practice.

Our principal dentist, Dr Dimitrios Thanos, has more than 25 years in practice. You can meet our team or read about The Smile Spot to find out more before your first visit from Double Bay, and call us with any questions.
