504 Marrickville RdThis small Sutherland Shire suburb sits about 26 km south of the CBD. The drive is 21.4 km and usually close to 42 minutes outside peak. Wind out via Lilli Pilli Point Road, Mirral Road, Crescent Road, Loraine Avenue and Lynch Avenue, and you’ll reach Port Hacking Road South.
Then it’s the Kingsway, Taren Point Road and Rocky Point Road, before the Princes Highway takes you north to Gannon Street and Unwins Bridge Road, on to Marrickville Road. Train and bus trips need a change, so it’s simpler to drive. Look for parking on Marrickville Road or in MacArthur Parade, and mind the timed bays.
