504 Marrickville RdThis route skips the bridge. Leave by Upper Cliff Road and Northwood Road to River Road West, then Bridge Street and Penrose Street bring you to Burns Bay Road. Victoria Road takes you south, and Darling Street, Balmain Road, Perry Street and Mary Street lead on towards Marrickville Road. It’s 16.1 km, about 34 minutes outside peak.
Wollstonecraft and St Leonards are the closest stations to Northwood, and the 261 and 265 run nearby, but no service comes through to the clinic. Public transport means changing at least once, so driving is far easier. Park on Marrickville Road or MacArthur Parade, minding the timed bays.
Open until 8pmHonestly, for a quick clean, a dentist closer to Northwood may suit you better. Patients who make the trip tend to want late appointments until 8pm, Saturday sessions, sedation options, or one clinic for check-ups through to implants.
