504 Marrickville RdLet’s be upfront: this one is a proper drive. From Carina Road and Caravan Head Road you follow Green Point Road and Oyster Bay Road to Carvers Road and Bates Drive, then the Princes Highway north. Gannon Street, Unwins Bridge Road and Carrington Road finish it off. Count on 22.3 km and about 42 minutes outside peak.
Como station is 1.2 km from the suburb centre, but reaching us from there takes a change, so the car makes more sense. When you pull in, street parking is on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade beside us, with timed bays on parts of the strip.
Open until 8pmComing up from the Sutherland Shire, you’ll want each appointment to do plenty. A standard visit combines a full exam, a scale and polish, and digital X-rays where needed, so you aren’t driving back the following week for one small step.
If you prefer to avoid weekday traffic, Saturdays from 9am are a good fit. Have a read about dental check-ups and our dental hygiene cleans to see what’s covered in a normal visit.
Saturday family visitsWhen parents and children all need check-ups, it’s easier to book the lot together on one Saturday than to make separate trips. Afterwards you’re home in time for a walk at Green Point Reserve or along the Esplanade Foreshore Reserve.
Our children’s dental services cover first visits, fillings and preventive care. Kids who train through the week can also be fitted for sports mouthguards, moulded to their teeth here at the clinic.
Same-visit crownsLonger treatment is where the trip makes most sense. Single implants and All-on-4 are planned and placed under one roof, so you’re dealing with one team from start to finish. See dental implants near Oyster Bay for how it works.
Crowns are made in-house, which means a same-day dental crown instead of a temporary and a second visit. For appearance, ask about whitening treatments, bonding and E-max or Zirkonzahn veneers, with costs set out after your exam.

Dr Dimitrios Thanos has spent 25+ years in practice and leads the clinic day to day. Read more about The Smile Spot, or meet the people you’ll see when you come in.
