Check-Ups Around A Chinatown Schedule

Life around Goulburn Street and Market City doesn’t always leave room for daytime appointments. That’s why we keep three late nights, finishing at 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Fridays and Saturdays the doors are open from 9am until 3pm.

A check-up here means a careful exam of teeth and gums, digital X-rays if they’re due, and a clean to lift plaque and stains. What we find is talked through in plain terms. Find out more about regular dental check-ups and scale and clean appointments.

Children’s Dentistry For Chinatown Families

Tumbalong Park and the Darling Quarter Village Green are nearby for weekend play, and a Saturday visit to us can slot in either side. Children are welcome from their very first check-up, and we take things slowly so they know what to expect each time.

Dentistry for kids here includes fluoride, fissure sealants and fillings when needed. For young athletes, custom mouthguards for sport are made from impressions of their teeth, so they sit snugly and stay in place during play.

Restoring And Brightening Smiles Near Chinatown

Lost a tooth? Dental implants near Chinatown are planned and placed at our clinic, from a single implant to All-on-4. Cracked teeth can often be covered with a crown made on site, and many same-day dental crowns are finished in one appointment.

If you’d like a lighter shade, whitening treatment is a simple start. Bonding can tidy a chip, and custom veneers in E-max, Zirkonzahn or composite reshape teeth more fully. Costs are explained after your exam, and health fund claims can be discussed with us.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How far is Chinatown from The Smile Spot?

About 8 km by road. Outside peak the drive takes roughly 19 minutes, heading out through Pier Street, Wentworth Park Road and Parramatta Road.

Can I catch the light rail from Chinatown?

Yes. Board the L1 at Paddy’s Markets, Capitol Square or Exhibition Centre and stay on to Dulwich Grove or Dulwich Hill. No change needed.

Where can Chinatown patients park?

Along Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade next to the clinic. Some spots are timed, so it’s worth checking the signs.

Are evening appointments available for Chinatown patients?

Yes, until 8pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. On Friday and Saturday we open 9am to 3pm, and we close on Wednesday and Sunday.

Do you see urgent dental problems?

Yes. Phone (02) 9569 0199 right at opening and explain what’s happening. We’ll offer the earliest appointment that’s free.

Can I become a new patient if I live in Chinatown?

Yes. Call us to book your first visit. If dental visits make you anxious, ask about happy gas, oral sedation or IV sedation.

Do you look after children?

Yes, from first check-ups to sealants, fillings and sports mouthguards. Saturday times help families fit visits around the week.

Do Chinatown patients have implants done at your clinic?

Yes. Single implants and All-on-4 are planned and placed in Dulwich Hill, and we explain costs after your initial exam. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person. We talk you through the alternatives at your consultation, and you are welcome to get a second opinion.
