Easy ParkingStreet parking on Marrickville Rd
504 Marrickville RdStart out via McKay Street, Yates Avenue and King Street to Stewart Street, then take Silverwater Road down to the Western Motorway. The M4 East Tunnel carries you most of the way to Parramatta Road, and Tebbutt, Hathern, Brown and Cook streets bring you on to Marrickville Road. It’s 19.8 km, about 30 minutes outside peak.
Parking is on the street, along Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade right next to the clinic, and a few bays are timed. The nearby light rail stops at Telopea (1.4 km) and Carlingford (1.5 km) aren’t on the L1, so public transport takes a change. Driving is the straightforward choice.
Open until 8pmWith a motorway doing most of the work, an evening visit is realistic. Book a later slot on a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday and you’re done before the 8pm close. Fridays and Saturdays are open 9am to 3pm if a daytime or weekend visit suits better.
A standard visit is an exam with a professional scale and clean, plus digital X-rays when they’re due. Find out what’s involved in regular check-ups and professional teeth cleaning, and bring up anything that’s been bothering you while you’re in the chair.
Saturday family visitsKids who spend their weekends at Dundas Park or exploring Iona Creek Reserve nearby can come in on a Saturday without missing a school day. Brothers and sisters can be booked one after another, which saves doing the M4 run twice in the same month.
First visits are kept calm and low-key, and we explain each step to children before we start. Read about dentistry for children, and if they play rugby, soccer or hockey, ask about fitted sports mouthguards made from impressions of their teeth.
Same-visit crownsA cracked or heavily filled tooth can usually take a same-visit crown, made in-house so you aren’t waiting on a lab or driving back for a fitting. If a tooth is already gone, dental implants near Dundas Valley are planned and placed here, including All-on-4.
For cosmetic changes, the options run from professional whitening and bonding to E-max, Zirkonzahn or composite veneers. We’ll examine your teeth first, talk through what’s realistic for you, and explain costs and health fund claims before anything begins.

Nervous patients can ask about happy gas, oral sedation or IV sedation. Dr Dimitrios Thanos brings more than 25 years in practice to each appointment. Meet the people you’ll see and learn more about the clinic before you book your first visit.
