How To Get Here From Bangor

Take Yala Road and Menai Road to Alfords Point Road, which carries you north across the Georges River. Davies Road and Fairford Road lead to the M5 Motorway, and from Wolli Avenue it’s Bray Avenue, Hartill-Law Avenue, Homer Street, Wardell Road and Margaret Street, then on to Marrickville Road.

Expect 24.3 km, about 39 minutes outside peak. There’s no train station near Bangor, and local buses don’t reach the clinic, so public transport means at least one change. Driving is far simpler. Street parking is on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade beside us; some bays are timed.

Bangor Check-Ups On Your Schedule

If you drive the M5 for work anyway, an evening check-up can save a separate trip. The clinic is open until 8pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and from 9am to 3pm on Friday, so there are options beyond usual business hours.

A standard check-up includes an exam of teeth and gums, digital X-rays when due and a clean to clear tartar. Findings are explained plainly, along with when to come back. See dental check-ups and a professional clean.

Bangor Families And Children’s Visits

Saturday appointments from 9am to 3pm let you bring the kids in together, then be back south of the river for the rest of the weekend, maybe a kick of the ball at Ross Reserve or Jelba Reserve nearby.

Early visits help children feel at home in the chair. From there we cover check-ups, fluoride, fissure sealants and, for kids in contact sport, a mouthguard made from moulds of their teeth. Read about looking after kids’ teeth and custom sports mouthguards.

Implants, Crowns And Cosmetic Care For Bangor

A 39-minute drive each way is easier to justify when complex treatment stays in one place. Planning, placement and follow-up for dental implants near Bangor, including All-on-4, all happen at the clinic, and in-house crowns can often be fitted on the day.

For cosmetic concerns, we offer whitening, bonding and composite, E-max or Zirkonzahn veneers. Start with a consultation; once your teeth have been examined, costs are explained, and you can ask about payment plans and health fund claims at the clinic.

It’s 24.3 km by road, roughly 39 minutes outside peak via Menai Road, Alfords Point Road, Fairford Road and the M5.

Is there public transport from Bangor?

Buses serve Bangor locally, but none run through to our clinic, so you’d need at least one change. The drive is usually much easier.

Is there parking near the clinic?

Yes, on Marrickville Road and in MacArthur Parade beside us. Some bays have time limits, so check the signs before you leave the car.

Can Bangor patients come in on Saturdays?

Yes, from 9am to 3pm. We’re also open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until 8pm and Friday until 3pm, closed Wednesday and Sunday.

Who should I call for a dental emergency in Bangor?

Call The Smile Spot on (02) 9569 0199 as soon as we open. Let us know it’s urgent and we’ll book the earliest appointment available.

Can Bangor residents become new patients?

Yes. Book online or call us. Mention if you’re nervous and we can talk through happy gas, oral or IV sedation.

Do you see kids from Bangor?

Yes. Children’s check-ups, sealants, fillings and sports mouthguards are all done here, with Saturday times to suit families.

Are dental implants available?

Yes. Implant consultations, single implants and All-on-4 are all handled at our Dulwich Hill clinic, so you deal with one team throughout. Implant placement is surgery and carries risks such as pain, swelling and infection, and it is not suitable for everyone. Results vary from person to person. We talk you through the alternatives at your consultation, and you are welcome to get a second opinion.
